AEROWA offers airline preparation training for self-sponsored pilots preparing for an airline simulator assessment or a return to recruitment. The preparation is built around your aircraft type, recent experience and the assessment information the airline has shared with you. If joining an airline also requires a recent proficiency check, we can review the requirement and plan the appropriate check separately. The airline makes its own recruitment decisions.

Who this service is for

  • A320 or A330 pilots with an upcoming airline simulator assessment.
  • Pilots returning to recruitment after time away from line flying.
  • Individual pilots seeking structured practice and feedback before selection.
  • A320 or A330 pilots who need a recent proficiency check before joining an airline, where required by the competent authority or operator — for example, a check completed within the previous six months.

Focus your preparation on the assessment

  • Review the assessment format supplied by the airline and agree preparation priorities.
  • Practise manual handling, instrument flying and automation management as appropriate to your type.
  • Work on Pilot Flying and Pilot Monitoring coordination, communication and threat and error management.
  • Discuss briefing, decision making, debriefing and technical interview preparation needs.

How to request your session

  1. Contact AEROWA by WhatsApp or email with your aircraft type, licensing objective and preferred dates.
  2. We review your enquiry and confirm the information needed, scope, availability and quote.
  3. Confirm the agreed arrangements before booking travel or committing to a test date.

Frequently asked questions

Can I book airline simulator preparation as an individual?

Yes. AEROWA offers preparation for self-sponsored A320 and A330 pilots. Tell us the aircraft type, assessment date, recent flying experience and the format provided by the airline.

Is airline preparation an LPC or ATPL skill test?

No. Airline preparation is practice for recruitment or selection. An LPC, type rating renewal or ATPL skill test is a separate licensing service with its own requirements.

What if my airline requires a proficiency check within the last six months?

Send us the airline or competent authority's written requirement, your aircraft type, issuing authority, and the date and type of your last check. We review whether an LPC, OPC or another specified check is needed and confirm the relevant examiner and operator arrangements before booking. A six-month recency requirement applies only where specified for your case. Simulator assessment preparation alone does not replace a formal proficiency check; acceptance of the check must be confirmed with the airline or competent authority.

Will the training follow the airline assessment profile?

We plan around the information you are authorised to share and your training needs. We do not claim access to confidential selection profiles or act on behalf of an airline.

Does preparation guarantee an airline job or a pass?

No. Preparation provides practice and feedback. Assessment performance and recruitment decisions remain with the airline.
