Frequently asked questions

How much simulator time is needed for an SFI AoC?

For A320 and A330 SFI AoC, plan at least 3 hours of simulator instruction in line with AMC4 FCL.935. Allow additional time for briefing, debriefing and documentation. Any separate refresher training or pilot proficiency check is arranged separately.

Can I book an A320 or A330 SFI AoC as an individual?

Yes. AEROWA accepts direct requests from self-sponsored A320 and A330 Synthetic Flight Instructors. Tell us your aircraft type, certificate status and dates.

What is the difference between SFI and TRI AoC services?

These services concern different instructor certificates and privileges. The SFI service focuses on synthetic flight instruction. Send your certificate so the assessment request is matched to the correct instructor category.

Can you arrange an AoC after my SFI certificate has expired?

You can request renewal support. We first review your certificate and experience, then confirm the assessment and any additional training or evidence required for your route.

What information should I send first?

What is included in my SFI AoC quote?
